When I moved to London, I realized it was much cheaper to buy new stuff at IKEA than to ship all of our stuff from the states for a relatively short tour of duty. This proved to be a painful decision (I think I contracted repetitive Allen Wrech syndrome and I wish those instruction manuals included how to curse in Swedish).
Anyway, little did I realize that IKEA was actually starting to sell actual flat-pack homes under the brand BoKlok. They just broke ground on the first developments in the UK a few weeks ago.
There is an IKEA in West Sacramento which means that i can get my Swedish meatball fix without driving to Eneryville. Yay! Your MIL Libby took Mim and Dick to said IKEA and showed them some of the furniture you have in your London flat!
On a rather unrelated note, have you heard about a blog called “The Impulsive Buy”? The blogger impulsively buys products, tries them, and rates them according to a 1-5 rating system with pros, cons, and a mighty dose of witty anecdotes. I ask because he has reviewed quite a few Method products and generally likes them. Apparently this blogger also gets paid to review items for marketing research, etc. I read his blog for the highly entertaining descriptions of the disgusting food he voluntarily eats to best warn the unsuspecting consumer.
