Abraxas

I get excited about art supply shops the way some guys get excited about hardware stores, particularly if they’re independently owned and have lots of funky products I haven’t seen before (dorky I know).  Anyway, I found this range of bottled inks called Abraxas at an art shop in Chelsae.  I like the colorful merchandising, but also the way they thought through the packaging as if they were individually gift-wrapped.  The cork is tied to the bottle by a taut piece of string held in place by a real wax seal.  The label appears hand-applied and colored with a watercolor brush.  I don’t really even use colored inks that often, but boy was I compelled to buy a couple.
