we are what we do
I read change the world 9 to 5 cover to cover while stuck on the tube a couple days ago. It features of 50 actions to a more sustainable life, from an organization called we are what we do, which aims to "inspire people to use their everyday action to change the world." (there are now 500,000 actions posted). What I love is that they do this, not by preaching or giving a guilt trip, but by being human with a wicked sense of humor (they introduce car pools by clarifying they don’t mean when Keith Moon would drive his car into a pool).
No surprise, these are the guys behind the highly coveted, limited-edition, "I’m not a plastic bag" totes designed by Anya Hindmarch. Brilliant.
